WEB LOG . WEBLOG . BLOG ... well now that I have one I ought to think of something to write. Right? haha... alright I guess I'm not that funny. yet.
The reason I have this lovely 'blog spot' is because I am running away to ( studying abroad in) Costa Rica !!! YESssss! I KNOW! How awesome is that?! I am so excited, anxious, and happy.
Excuse me? Don't you dare say "Oh you're so lucky" in that tone of voice. I am only lucky because I work hard; if you want to be 'lucky' too you just have to set goals, then work until you reach them.
Anyways, my fast approaching adventure is causing a great deal of stress for my mom, and for me... but for different reasons. She is stressed because I've told her I may not be as accessible as I was during my first year of school. And - I am stressed because I have no idea ( or five too many) about what kind of internship I want to do while abroad. The program I am participating in is set up in chunks.

The bottom line: it will be awesome & I'm going to be speakin' the Spanish in no time!
Best of all, this homey little blog spot is where mom and all of you nice folks can come and check in on all of the fun stuff, or maybe not so fun stuff, I will be doing, learning about, experiencing,observing,photographing and (hopefully if/when I buy a video camera) recording.
