Yayyy!!! The fact that it is not raining is something of a miracle. It is the rainy season here in Costa Rica and with hurricane Felix the amount of lluvia we receive has greatly increased. It ususally rains arount 5:30 or so. Right around when we are walking home ( or taking a taxi ;) in our case).
On tuesday I wore my rain boots because the day before it poured and poured all day long. We walked to the bank and when we returned every one was quite mojado. Well Tuesday it did not rain at all. It rained that evening and it wasn't even that much; however, the damage was done. I had worn socks that didn't stay up very well and of course the resulted in some pretty lovely blisters. ;) That evening i realized I had a little rash on my wrist as well. I doesn't itch though so I think it might be my body adjusting to the weather- or something like that. Oh well .
Wednesday, yesterday, I asked Laura ( one of the coordinators) and she said not to worry b/c it doesn't itch or anything its probably just a reaction. Jose (the other coordinator) gave me some natural crema de hierbas to use. So it's all good, and yesterday I found bandaids that actually stick to my skin! Que Suerte!
