Outside Learning...es mejor

Class w/ Roger: Friday

So our classes with Roger are pretty awesome because we we don't have a classroom. We read a few articles perhaps an exerpt from a play or a book and then we go to sites that pertain to our reading.

This is a french style park, built during the reforms, but it was once a slave purchasing station, a servents neighborhood, and the place where all the elite built their Palaces/ Mansions. Then when yellow fever the rich moved north to Neighborhoods like Recoleta and Palermo.
The park overlooks the English Tower.
"P" for La Prensa
Was once the most powerful and influential newspaper in Argentina. Until the Peron Government expelled the newspaper from Argentina from 1976-1983.
Now the Building is owned by the Centro de Cultura, and the primary newspapers here are Clarin, La Nacion, & I like La Critica... Julia likes Pagina 12.

After Class with Roger we have Spanish Class at CUI...Friday Martín decided we'd have a field trip! So we went to Recoleta Cemetery and  an are show at the Cultural Center in Recoleta.  It was a good day. Here are a few fotos from the Cemetary…

That's Jesus,

 & a tomb.
