Chile

hola.hola.hola!

I've been in Chile since Sunday afternoon. Today is Friday and I'm leaving tomorrow morning...I'm not exactly sure how long the bus ride will be...around 30 hours... maybe a little less depending on how long it takes to get through customs and weather...so I should get to BsAs on Sunday. Its tiring just thinking about being on a bus that long.

Anyways,

I was in Valparaiso until Wednesday afternoon. I was there for two days and three nights; a very pleasant stay in all. On the bus to Valparaiso I started chatting with the girl sitting next to me and it turns out she is going to Williamsburg in December to work at The Cheese Shop through a working travel program. She offered to help me find a hostel and gave me a few suggestions about things to do and places to go. Then on Tuesday we met up again to go for lunch in Vina del Mar and I met her friends! SO whileI'd been thinking that I would be traveling alone...in reality its quite the opposite! Here in Santiago I met up with some friends I'd met in BsAs and its been like having a pair of tour guides who have the same length attention span as me... Its been really great.

Hostel life is interesting...

I've been seeing Christmas trees in the store fronts... oh Thanksgiving...
